We Would Literally Walk 500 Miles (We Would Literally Walk 500 More)

The race begins tomorrow at 1pm, and you get to determine where it begins.  Every dollar we receive in the Extra Give between 12:01am and 12pm determines how many miles out the race starts, and – with thanks to the Kager Family and the Lindsley Family – we have $8,000.00 in matching opportunities in place to push the race pretty far out there.

If we complete both matches, the race will begin 16 miles from Tellus.  If we exceed the matches, we’ll start…even farther away.

(And if we exceed those matches by a lot….Dean of Students Alex Funnell and Head of School Mike Simpson will spend next week walking back from Pittsburgh.)

Supporting Stone at any time during the Extra Give makes you a player in the game: you choose which direction we start; you have access to a live-updating map which tracks our progress; you can vote on hourly challenges (like: “Track down Sam Bressi and sing “Shake It Off” to him).

And much more importantly: every dollar you share with Stone goes directly to our students.  Your support funds our financial aid program, and if we hit our goal of $50,000.00 we plan on taking all of our students to Hersheypark this spring to celebrate.

The race is on, and every dollar counts – for our racers, and most importantly for our students.

Look for us tomorrow, somewhere between Tellus360 and…Pittsburgh.
